Margaret Thatcher Lives in People's Mind


According to British media reports, known as the "Iron Lady," former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Baroness  died at the age of 87  because of a stroke at home on April 8, 2013.



Margaret Thatcher born on 13 October 1925, a family of a grocery store in England Lincolnshire Grantham Town. She participated in the Conservative party in her University, and was elected as a Member of Parliament  in 1959. In 1975, she was elected as the leader of the Conservative Party, becoming the first female leaders in the history of British political parties.

Four years later, she broke an record for the second time for her won the British general election in 1979 as a leader of  the Conservative Party. She became the first woman prime minister of the United Kingdom, and the term of office longer than any British Prime Minister in the twentieth century.

In the inauguration ceremony, to borrow the words of Saint Francis to Margaret Thatcher summed up her political ideas. She said: "in the conflict, to give harmony; fallacy place to proclaim the truth; doubts, bring faith; disappointed, to raise hopes." Thatcher called the British government miracle of the altar, she changed her party and the country as a whole.

Controversy
Margaret Thatcher came to power in the UK domestic implementation of monetarist economic policies to reduce taxes, to limit public spending, advocated privatization, as well as combat weaken union power. On the diplomatic front, her favorite is the debate with the leaders of the EU countries. She further European integration proposed answer "No! No! No!" Become a political classic.
